The United States of America is less than 250 years old. Among the nations of the world, America is certainly one of the youngest. Yet America has excelled far above the national achievements of almost all other nations recorded in history. Is this because we are an exceptional people? Are we above average among all others? I suggest to you that we are certainly not! We have been blessed with a Godly heritage and with freedom to exercise those three inalienable rights handed down by God Almighty to mankind. We were given by our founders a government that, at its core, has stated in no uncertain terms that there is a Living God in heaven and He is involved in the affairs of man. We today, however, have drifted far from our founding. Today we operate with a government that most of the time acts as if there is no God in heaven. And if there was, He certainly is not involved. Our citizenry seems to be searching for its very soul. We have attempted to push God out of all parts of government and public life, trading the Creator for the created things. There IS a spirit in our government today, but it certainly is not a spirit of freedom. Our government has become terribly oppressive to its citizens. It has become an institution of soft tyranny; tyranny not yet imposed by the barrel of a gun, but by laws, rules, legislation, executive orders, and nudges in the direction they wish for us to go.

The three basic rights are severely under attack in our republic today. The Right To Life? We have slaughtered, in some estimates, over 55 million of our own citizens, all under the ruse of a woman's right to choose.
The Right to Liberty? Under attack more now than ever. The Obama administration has now told the Catholic church that they must provide contraception for their employees. This is an outright assault on religious liberties by an oppressive White House. This administration is brazen enough to OPENLY ATTACK religious freedom. Our civil liberties are under attack, much through the guise of national security. No longer do you have the right to not participate in taxpayer-funded abortion. Just a few days ago the Department of Health and Human Services announced that $1 of each insurance premium paid will now go toward Federally Funded Abortions! This is taxation without representation! Section 8 of the Constitution tells us that Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, not The White House, and CERTAINLY NOT The Department of Health and Human Services!! I know that we, as taxpayers, are funding many things that we believe are wrong and seem to have no way of preventing it. We are being made complicit in the evils of this government. They are making us, as taxpayers, drink the cup of God's wrath. By the way, and speaking of taxation.... the US certainly has a most ingenious/underhanded method of collecting tax. Almost none of the taxes that US citizens pay are paid directly to the government. Instead, they are collected by businesses, employers, and such, who are forced to participate in the government's scheme in order to stay in business. If Americans were asked to pay each individual tax with a separate check, there would very likely be a tax revolt in this country.
The pursuit of happiness? It's quickly becoming a thing of the past with the endless regulations placed on Americans by bureaucracies not elected "by the people." And once in power, they answer to almost no one. This is NOT what our founders intended.

We are all part of a world system that is anti-God at best. Today there are powers at work both within and without our government and outside our borders which seek to destroy our republic. It has always been that way because America is good. But today America is also sick. The enemies seem to be reading this. Many enemies seem to be conspiring both separately and together simultaneously. I was talking to my friend, Delton Nail, about how they seem to be working together, each having their own (and different) reasons for wanting America defeated. He stated to me that they may all be "led by the same spirit." Ephesians 6:12 tells us our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. America is certainly under spiritual attack. many of these battles for good and against evil take place in the physical arena.

Freedom loving Americans, we must engage the enemy. Delton also reminded me of another scripture: when Jesus was tempted by Satan in Luke 4, He was led up to a high place and in an instant shown all the kingdoms of the world. The devil said to Jesus, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for they have been given to me." Jesus did not bow down to Satan, but He also did not deny his statement. The devil also said, "I can give it to anyone I want." People, we are in the fight of our republic's life against the very powers of evil. Christian, your freedom is at stake. Atheist, your freedom is at stake. My son and many others have fought and died so that we may have the right to live freely in this country. Our founders believed you had the right to worship God or not worship Him. God Himself gave us a free will. We must not let others take it away. We must stand together or we will hang separately. If we do not stand, then our silence will be our consent to this evil, oppressive government that knows respect for no one's rights, but recognizes only its own agenda.

Martin Niemoller was a protestant who lived from the 1890's till the 1980's. I believe he was in Germany during the reign of the Nazis. He spent the last seven years of the Nazi Regime in concentration camps. He made the statement that "First they came for the socialists, and I did nothing because I was  not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionist, and I did nothing because I was not in a trade union. Next they came for the Jews and I did nothing because I was not a Jew. Finally they came for me and there was no one left to stand with me. " All freedom-loving people in this country MUST STAND TOGETHER! We must stand up and speak out. We must educate ourselves to all going on in our world, and around us. We must work together to stop the intrusiveness of government. We need a modern-day Paul Revere. We can all live together and enjoy freedom. You should be free to choose who you will choose. However, as for me and my house, we choose to serve the LORD GOD of ISRAEL.

Sometime back, it was reported that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg stated that emerging democracies should not model their constitution after that of the US, but after other, more modern constitutions such as South Africa's. There are multiple problems with Ms. Ginsberg's statement. The first and probably most obvious is that Ms. Ginsberg swore an oath to interpret, defend, and uphold the US Constitution only. If she is not capable of that, or does not believe it to be the best document for our nation, she should never have taken the position she holds. The second problem is that Article VI of the US Constitution states that only OUR Constitution, and American law derived from it, can be used in our courts. If any other law is used by her or another judge, it seems to me they would be guilty of a crime. It is however somewhat easy to see why Ms. Ginsberg views our nation's most revered document as she does. In most other nations where constitutions are being written, they are being written by governments handing down rights to citizens. In the case of the US Constitution however, citizens agree to give the government consent to govern them, ensuring as much freedom to each citizen as possible, while at the same time keeping the republic united. It is easy to see Ms. Ginsberg's mindset. She is of the opinion that government gives citizens their rights, while our founders believed American citizens give government its rights. It is sad that Ms. Ginsberg, like many on the left, have so little respect for our founding documents or those who have spilled their blood protecting them.

I have put off what I am about to embark on with the following words for months now. Mainly because I am not sure that I am qualified to write these convictions and also because I do not seek to offend anyone. Remember, we are all in this together. We are "One Nation Under God, Indivisible." And as a nation I fear we will be judged that way. (we are all in one house, so to speak) Folks, right now there is so much smoke in our house that we can't find the fire. Also, I am afraid there are those in our house that are not in our family and are instead fanning the flames, hoping to prompt a speedy demise of our Republic as we know and love it. Anyway, back to Ms. Ginsberg's leftist views... we must understand that she is not the problem with our republic, she is just a symptom of a much deeper problem. We must understand that a President who would appoint her (Bill Clinton), and a Congress who would confirm her is not the problem, only a symptom. We must understand that when our current President lies, deceives, and does things before our eyes that we, as Americans, have never seen.... he is just a symptom. When he and Congress trample on the Constitution... again, they are simply symptoms of a much bigger problem. The Bible states "Out of the heart flow the issues of life." We have a heart problem in America. The heart of America (the citizenry) has put the head of America (Washington) where it is today. Washington no longer respects the heart of America. But we are to blame, either through our selfishness or our apathy. Neither is an excuse. Our form of government is one that gives its citizens both the privilege and the responsibility to protect those who come after. It requires its citizens to be engaged often to protect the republic. Politicians, on the other hand, are like a baby's diaper. They must be changed regularly or they stink. George Washington said that government is a necessary evil.  However, government is ordained by God. Its purpose is to protect decent citizens and to punish those who break the law.

Today in America we seem to have a government that is completely out of kilter in how it acts based on it's original design. John Adams stated that our form of government is for a Godly people only. It is wholly inadequate for any other kind. The founders did however provide a way to change the document they had written. Article V of the Constitution provides and explains the method for changing or "amending." If you choose to take the time to read it, I believe you will see that neither the President nor the Supreme Court is involved in the amendment process. It falls solely to the Congress and the "Several States".

However, one of the most important, most divisive decisions ever made by our government was not decided by the Congress or the several states. It was decided by nine judges on a bench who had no constitutional right to make such a decision. If this had been done in a constitutionally correct manner I believe it could never have reached the two-thirds requirements of both houses or the three-fourths ratification by the several states. It appears to me that anything done by the Executive Branch or Judicial Branch can be undone by the Congress and the States. I suggest to you that Americans were tricked into believing the court had a constitutional right to make the law that has allowed over 55 million American citizens to be slaughtered since 1973. Again, I tread lightly here as not to offend any.  My intention is not to speak condemnation on any individual, but rather to point out a national calamity. We as a nation, have all been infected by this devaluing of human life. A friend of mine, Rex Briant, said to me a couple of months ago that "we are on Hitler's timeline." We must remember that Hitler did not begin to slaughter the Jewish people on his first day in office. He had to first convince the Germans that the Jewish people were a problem, then a scourge that must be dealt with, then finally, not even really human in the same sense as we are. What a lie! But it is the same lie we sheep in the US have lived with for almost forty years now! We have bought the lie that these in the womb are not really humans, as we are. Actually.... they aren't the same...they are completely innocent and depend solely on someone else to keep them alive as an infant. Almighty God has much to say about the protection of innocent life in His Word. There is certainly none more innocent than the unborn.

Let me explain about Hitler's timeline. Now that our nation is comfortable in the slaughter of its young, many talk about other steps. Who is valuable to our American society? Some say now that babies are not really "people" until around age two! Intellectuals argue that elderly and handicapped cannot contribute. Some now say those in prolonged comatose states are no longer "people." I'm afraid as a nation we may be drunk on the blood of our unborn, and that has caused us to no longer be able to see or think clearly about many other issues. I don't want to take a scripture out of context and I don't think I am. Romans 1:22 says "Believing themselves to be wise, they became fools." I believe that's where we are a s a nation. I believe that in God's eyes sin is sin. But not all sin has the same consequences. God is quick to forgive us and restore us when we ask. The sanctioned slaughter of the unborn by the US government provides "cover" to citizens in a sense. We know that government is ordained by God. So citizens in a "natural" way can feel more "OK" about what they have done or are contemplating. We have been duped by our government, but it is a government WE have put in place. We need God's forgiveness as a nation, but we are still hurdling along, headed for destruction like a freight train with no brakes. The blood of the unborn must surely cry out from the grave for God's judgment on a nation who has not extended the "Right To Life," given to man by Almighty God, not government. As a nation, our conscience has been seared. As a people, all of us have a freedom which is at stake, both born and unborn. Galatians 5:1 states "It is for Freedom that Christ has set us free." Our eternal freedom has been bought, once for all, by Christ. Our physical freedom has been bought over and over by the blood of patriots. They have kept us free from outside our borders while we have surrendered our freedoms to a government elected by us within. We must not lose the freedoms that others have attained for us. It is time Americans to stand against the wickedness in Washington and attempt to save our Republic. Freedom loving Americans... I'm afraid the hour is late and time is short for our Republic if we continue to sit back and accept what Washington hands us. The British are not just coming.... THEY ARE HERE!!! Is is too late? I don't know. Only our sovereign God knows. But He has not asked us to win; He has asked us to be faithful. The rest must be left to Him since He is in control of all.

President Obama and his leftist entourage have blamed President Bush or someone/anyone else for one debacle after another brought on by this current administration. The lapdog media reports the ridiculous failures one after another without rebuttal to the left's lies. Candidate Obama whined and moaned against the war in Iraq, was against the surge, and pretty much against winning. He has gone against almost all advice on how the U.S. should disengage from Iraq. However, President Obama has said Afghanistan is the war that should be fought. As I stated earlier, this President and the left have blamed the previous President for everything that has taken place since January 2001. It's almost as though there were no democrats present during any of those years, even though they controlled both houses of congress from 2006-2010! However, there is enough blame to go around on both sides. We have a congress full of men and women who would rather tickle the ears of their constituates than address the serious problems our republic faces.

Back to Afghanistan.... this is one shameful situation created by this President which he cannot blame on anyone but himself. I'm sure he will continue to whine, cry, and moan about others, but this is HIS war. He has shamed the people of America and more importantly, our valiant warriors. Mr. Obama promised us we would regain respect around the world when he was a candidate. Since he has become President, our world standing and respect world-wide has plummeted. Even the Muslim world, who he has reached out to and bowed down to, now make fun of us. Mr. President, Americans have taken about all of the reaching out to our enemies that we can stand! Yes, our enemies hate America - You - AND President Bush. The only difference is, when Bush was President we were hated AND feared. Now we are hated and made fun of. Mr. President, I'm afraid if you don't leave soon, America may be only a by-word from the mouths of our enemies. It seems you have a desire to transform or ruin everything about America, including our fine military. You now say you want to cut the military budget by 100's of billions of dollars and cut our nuclear arsenal possible up to 80%. To someone like me, who does not have inside information, I can only conclude that either all those who have come and gone before you are stupid, or you are. Or maybe, Mr. President, in your case it is something far worse, even sinister. History shows that a strong, powerful America provides much more world peace than a weak America. However, it has been said by those around you, including your wife, that you plan to re-write history. You are well on your way and sadly so, because so much blood has been spilled by Americans in all corners of this world to preserve the way of life you so much wish to destroy.

Let's look quickly at the damage that has been done in Afghanistan (things that are clear and on the surface for all to see). These are some things that any novice, like me, can understand; things which show me that someone like you has absolutely no business being in charge of the best military the world has ever seen (sadly, you are). In 2009 you changed the rules of engagement. Congressmen have told me the President is solely in charge of the ROE. Soldiers have told me that the ROEs are getting our men and women killed. Karen and I have both talked to SEALs, Rangers, and other warriors who have told us of ridiculous situations in which they were not allowed to engage, or forced to engage the enemy only on the enemy's terms. When Extortion 17 was shot down, one of the two Apache choppers overhead did not engage the terrorists who fired the RPGs. Although he saw where they were fired from, he stated he did not feel he could take them out under the current ROEs, since he could not be certain that "friendlies" weren't in the same building. This is criminal for our troops!!! We had thirty fallen special ops and NO RETURN FIRE!!!

President Obama is like a coach who refuses to let the team win, but instead blames them for everything that goes wrong. Just think how that lowers the morale of the team. Remember back when his Generals were begging for more troops in Afghanistan? Finally, after MONTHS OF DELAY, the incompetent Commander in Chief gave the Generals about 50% of what they had asked/begged for. Again, the so-called coach would not give his team the tools they needed to win.

Forward now to Aug. 6, 2011. The mission's call sign was Extortion 17. It carried thirty of the most courageous Americans that our country knew. These men were sent out on a mission this President was in charge of and responsible for. Had the coach given the team all the tools necessary for a completed mission that night? You decide. Here are some of the facts to help you along:
The mission that night was so risky that it could not be OK'd by the theater Commander.
The Army says there was almost zero illumination (total darkness).
The chopper was to land in the Tangi River Valley, between two high ridges.
Someone in the U.S. OK'd the mission - a "go" - although extremely risky.
The Army has what are called "Dark Horse" choppers; state of the art, best money can buy, machines made for the worst conditions.
On page 80 of Time Magazine's Special Edition "Time Special Ops - The Hidden World of America's Toughest Warriors," you' will read that one aviation unit has the explicit mandate to carry the likes of Delta Force, SEAL Team VI, and other elite units. These aviators are known as "The Night Stalkers" or the Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR).
You will read elsewhere in that article that they fly the Boeing MH47. This machine is the "Dark Horse," equipped for such missions as Extortion 17's.
Well, you know WHO was on the mission that night, but what you may not know is that they were not flying on an MH47. Do you know why?.... There were NONE AVAILABLE.
That's what the Army told the families of the fallen warriors at the debriefing. We were told that special operations had been increased so much that the Army simply did not have enough MH47s!
Once again....men asked to do the job without all the proper tools.

We HAVE been told however, how courageous our President is! The media told us of his courage after SEAL snipers had flown halfway around the world, parachuted into the dark of night, landed in the ocean, swam to a boat, climbed on a ship, and shot Somali pirates holding an American hostage. We were also told of his courage and how he stood alone when SEALs and Night Stalkers far away from home flew under radar, invaded the sovereignty of another country, took the enemy compound, climbed the stairs, killed the man responsible for almost 3,000 America deaths, brought back his body, escaped the foreign country back to safety, and yes, in the middle of the operation had one chopper crash, which they then had to destroy before leaving. All of this took place as the White House watched, freaking out as they thought the mission wouldn't be completed. The men on the mission weren't freaking out - I can promise you that. They also never considered failure - brave men don't. It's easy to see the difference in the mindset of the two groups though. The group in the White House, wishing t control America; the group on the ground in Pakistan wishing to serve and defend America. But.... we were all told over and over again of our President's GREAT COURAGE as he stood alone that night. I apologize for wandering so much. I'm afraid I may lose you in this story, but it does have a point.

Our President and his leaders continue to demoralize our troops, just as his action over the past three years have beaten down our citizens. Look at what has happened in just the past few weeks in Afghanistan. We burned Qurans. Our administration with all it's leaders apologized. Only the courageous President, after he made his apology, had the courage to come on TV and announce he had "calmed things down" - this, before several more days of Afghan maniacal violence and American deaths. Who should the American people hold responsible for those Americans who died? I don't think it should be the soldiers who burned those Qurans. By the way....Bibles have been burned by the military also. No one was punished. As a side note: in my opinion it is far more dangerous to burn the Words of The Living God than those of the false god, Allah. I have also read that the Qurans were disposed of in the proper way according to Islamic law. I don't know. That is not my point. My point? Please stop beating down OUR SOLDIERS!!!!! By the way Mr. President, your reaction to this incident gave another victory to the Taliban. You, sir, get the feather in the hat.

Next we have the incident of the seasoned American soldier killing innocent Afghans. This is a horrific situation. On all accounts the was a good soldier, family man, and neighbor. Mr. Panetta and others have called for a speedy trial and possible EXECUTION of this man who has served his country FAITHFULLY up till this tragedy. As bad as this is, our leaders have rushed to judgment once again. They just can't help it when it comes to our military. Oh, but am I mistaken? I can think of a contrary event. There is an incident that occurred on Nov. 5, 2009. I have not heard Secretary Panetta or any other member of the administration call for a speedy trial or execution of Major Nidal Malik Hassan; the American-MUSLIM soldier who shot and killed 12 American soldiers, 1 unborn baby, and wounded 31 other SOLDIERS at Fort Hood, Texas. Hassan screamed "Allahu Akbar" as he carried out the massacre. Where is your judgment Mr. Panetta?

And finally, did you know that Mr. Panetta, just this past week, made Marines disarm themselves in a war zone where he was present with them and some Afghans? This is poor judgment AT BEST!

Our military has done everything we have asked of them, and more! It's our politicians who have failed both us and the military miserably.

It appears to me, as someone who is not in the Obama loop, that in the past few months the Obama administration and his surrogates have done whatever they deem necessary to lose a war in Afghanistan. This is a war that was totally on path to achieve its goals of eliminating Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan up until the announcement of a timeline on pulling our fighting forces out. Almost everyone knows this was a clear signal to our enemy as to how long they had to hold out! It also has had at least two other sad but true consequences. 1) It has forced many otherwise friendly Afghan people, who appreciated what the American warriors have been doing in attempting to eradicate the evil Taliban, to now cozy up to their enemy. 2) More American warriors will either die or be wounded in a war whose outcome has already been determined by this administration. But back to the Afghan people...they know the truth. After the impotent President and his arrogant Vice President, along with the rest of this deplorable administration have removed the American warriors from their country, they will be forced to once again submit to the wicked Taliban; a culture where women, children, and non-Muslims have no rights. It is said that in "this" culture over 90% of all girls and 80% of all boys are sexually violated. Can you imagine negotiating with people like that? Well, as you know, the Obama administration is doing just that! Yes, we are willing to turn over five top Taliban commanders for the release of one unknown western hostage. This is a slap in the face to all warriors who have served and to their families. Anyway, how do we expect to negotiate with people whom are allowed, by their religion, to lie and deceive in order to further their agenda? Well, I can see that this is one area where the Taliban certainly won't have the edge over this administration. They have lying, deceiving, half-truth, and no truth to what they say perfected. One thing I can say for sure... the Taliban can't lie any better than our administration. The five high ranking Taliban leaders mentioned above may well have been captured during the first days of the war. Why have they not been tried? Why are they still alive? If they should be released, why have they not been already? If they were captured at the start of the war, it's quite possible they were in the prison riot which took the life of CIA Agent Mike Spann. This is an insult to his family and to him. It will certainly be tragic to see Afghanistan go back to what it was like under Taliban rule, before the Americans came there. It is sad to think of the brave American warriors lost and wounded, their families lives changed forever. However, it is even sadder to think about a President who runs an administration that has neither the will nor the desire to win.

This is a President who surrounds himself with gutless wonders who either are ashamed of America or worse... don't like it at all. A President whose Secretary of State has a top aide whose family are high-level members of The Muslim Brotherhood. I'll go one step further... we have a President who is ashamed of America as it has always been. Shame on you, Mr. President! A President whose wife, just a few years ago, spoke these incredible words, "For the first time in my adult life I am proud of America." By the way, this was not said because America is the symbol of freedom around the world. Nor was it because America does not conquer, but liberates. It was not because of America's efforts during the Tsunami in Indonesia, earthquake in Haiti or Japan, or any other humanitarian effort that dwarf those of other nations. It most certainly dwarfs those of the oil rich Muslim countries whom the President instructed our NASA Chief to reach out to. I'll say it again.... if only he or anyone in his administration could demonstrate to the American people, just once, that they have as much guts, courage, honor, or integrity as our fighting men and women have in their little finger...

Fellow Americans, Almighty God has given us what we have asked for as a people. I'm afraid we have seen the enemy and his IS our President. Thank God it is our warriors who fight to defend our constitution and way of life rather than our government. By the way Mr. President, it has been said lately that SEAL Team VI are YOUR boys and YOUR Team. I have the privilege to know many Team guys. They are not YOUR boys or YOUR Team. They are honorable Americans. They have a love for America and its people that I suspect you have never known or are capable of. Also, if I were you, I'd try to stay on their good side. I don't think they would, but if they ever wanted you.... you'd be theirs! Only the hand of God could stay them. All your "buds" would flee like rats from a sinking ship and you would be left alone with "YOUR TEAM." Shame, shame on you, Mr. President.

Shocking reminder that eugenicist beliefs underpin medical establishment

A paper published in the Journal of Medical Ethics argues that abortion should be extended to make the killing of newborn babies permissible, even if the baby is perfectly healthy, in a shocking example of how the medical establishment is still dominated by a eugenicist mindset.


The paper is authored by Alberto Giubilini of Monash University in Melbourne and Francesca Minerva at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at the University of Melbourne.

The authors argue that “both fetuses and newborns do not have the same moral status as actual persons,” and that because abortion is allowed even when there is no problem with the fetus’ health, “killing a newborn should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled.”

“The fact that both are potential persons is morally irrelevant,” the authors claim, arguing that adoption is not a reasonable counter-argument because the parents of the baby might be economically or psychologically burdened the process and the mother may “suffer psychological distress”. How the mother could not also “suffer psychological distress” by having her newborn baby killed is not explained.

“Merely being human is not in itself a reason for ascribing someone a right to life. Indeed, many humans are not considered subjects of a right to life: spare embryos where research on embryo stem cells is permitted, fetuses where abortion is permitted, criminals where capital punishment is legal,” the authors write.

The practice of infanticide has its origins in barbaric eras of ancient history, but it is still common is many areas of the world today, including China where the one child policy allied with the social pressure to have boys has resulted in a massive imbalance in the population. Studies have found that 40 million girls are ‘missing’ in China as a result of gender-selective abortion and infanticide. In India, there are 50 million less females for the same reasons.

In Pakistan, over 1000 babies a year are the victims of infanticide, which is rarely punished.

Matthew Archbold of the National Catholic Register explains how the legalization of infanticide, killing newborn babies, is the logical conclusion of the starting point of the argument, which is that the fetus is not human and has no right to live.

“The second we allow ourselves to become the arbiters of who is human and who isn’t, this is the calamitous yet inevitable end. Once you say all human life is not sacred, the rest is just drawing random lines in the sand,” he writes.

Respected bioethicist Wesley J. Smith notes that the debate surrounding “the right to dehydrate the persistently unconscious,” which eventually led to events like the Terri Schiavo case, started with articles in bioethics and medical journals.

“Or to put it another way, too often bioethics, isn’t. On the other hand, to be fair, the ancient Romans exposed inconvenient infants on hills. These authors may want to take us back to those crass values, but I assume they would urge a quicker death,” he writes.

Dear Friend of Israel,

After a decade of silence, patience, pain and ongoing suffering, I have allowed myself to, for the first time discuss what I personally endured and witnessed as a first responder in the Israel Police. My personal accounts and perspectives as an Israeli law enforcement officer in the front lines of terror, has never been told before.  

My ten years of carnage, chaos and hell and a testimony to One Hundred and Thirty One terror attacks that took place in Israel in One Short Year, 2002 will provide an insight into where Israel as a sovereign nation is headed ten years later.

What will the next ten years bring?

It has taken ten years for me to accept and understand the fact that I suffer from a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Only two months ago this became very apparent to me and as part of my healing process. Resilience will prevail.

 The 27th of March 2012 is the 10th anniversary of the Park Hotel terror attack.

I have undertaken to use my experience, knowledge and professionalism in dedicating my work for a week in march to assist and donate my services to the 18,000 victims of terror that we are aware of in Israel.

Through the best non- profit organization I could find, who looks after victims of terror on a daily basis, I have joined the One Family Fund  in a mission of being together.

It is my intent to assist this wonderful organization of dedicated people.

They are helping not only Israel's victims of terror but also, at my personal request, now assisting Billy and Karen Vaughn, the parents of a Aaron Vaughn a United States Navy Seal who was killed in action while serving in the elite Seal Team 6.

I will render my professional speaking services while taking the audiences behind the scenes into Israel's security apparatus and through video and graphic material show what has never been seen before.

My topics of discussion will focus naturally on the terror events in Israel ten years ago and I will allow integration and participation from the audience while discussing where we have come from since the 1967 Six Day war until today; where very real threats of expanded hostilities face Israel and the West. I will provide the audience with advise and tips (usually only for law enforcement) on how to be vigilant and ensure a safe community, while providing a first responders insight into where global terror is headed from a street level perspective. Even though Israel is at the epicenter of politics, I will not discuss political issues or agendas but will not be politically correct either.

The main inspiration for my new found courage in openly speaking about very personal and sometimes extremely controversial aspects of security operations in Israel, was induced by not only a very good friend of mine and of Israel but a natural leader and statesman, Congressman Allen West. His words of wisdom to me in 2009 have played a life changing role in my outlook to global peace and security.

In meeting and working with the likes of great American people from the State of Florida, who visited Israel on my unique Experience Israel Training Program; Joyce Kaufman, Tom Trento, Jim Gort, Fred Perry, Marlene Sandler, Norma Smith, Susan Lande, Gilad Bockman, Mike Dunn, Mike Bates, Mark C, Alan K, Gabriel. M,  Billy and Karen Vaughn, Henry Patino, Ann Fishman, and so many others.

I felt that the natural place to carry out this mission of gratitude to those survivors of terror, those who cannot eat on their own, sleep a full night's sleep, simply go for a swim in the ocean, fend for themselves or even dress themselves should be in South Florida, amongst all of these humble but great people; All true friends of Israel and certainly all who understand.

I have attached a short BIO and a letter I wrote to Congressman Allen West.  (I was extremely moved and immensely honored to have been surprised by Congressman West, in that he read this letter out openly on Youtube).

I look forward to sharing with you all unique factual insight and real hands on experience in the form of specific subject matter intellectual knowledge.

My mission brings me to South Florida during the dates 18th March to 24 March 2012. I am not asking for any fees or payment. This important mission is all about being together. It is about sharing and perhaps bringing some joy back to at least some of the 18,000 families who are all victims of terror in this year's Passover.

Proverbs 14:34  Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.

As I sit and watch Walid Phares on television this morning, it is perplexing to take in what our federal leaders are doing and saying in respect to Afghanistan. Dr. Phares is an American scholar of Lebanese origin. He serves as an adviser to the Anti-Terrorism Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives and is a Co-Secretary General of the Transatlantic Legislative Group on Counter Terrorism, a Euro-American Caucus, since 2009. He stated that the U.S. handled the recent Qur'an burning at a base in Afghanistan incorrectly. Imagine that! I can't imagine the Obama administration handling anything incorrectly, especially when it comes to Islam. Anyway, Dr. Phares says the U.S. should NOT have apologized for the incident. He stated that when the U.S. apologized, they only caused the Taliban to incite the jihadists to do more. I respect Dr. Phares' opinion very much but question whether or not he's aware of two very important things:
1. The U.S. has been on an apology tour since Jan. 2009. The Obama administration has perfected it.
2. The Taliban is not our enemy.
    So you see, Dr. Phares, if America apologizes, we can all get along better, as the West slowly marches toward a day when we will all say allahu akbar or have our heads removed from our body! I say "no" to that! On a side note: In Egypt's official election results, the vote for Parliament's upper house has gone 58% to The Muslim Brotherhood. At least they have an ally in the White House. This can only be seen as more bad news for OUR ally and friend, Israel. Karen and I were there only a couple weeks ago and now I am told that Israel will be forced to build more protection along their border with Egypt. Oh yes, it is also reported that Islmaists dominated elections for the people's assembly, the stronger of the two houses of Parliament. I'm afraid this may not end well. Anyway, I say "no" to allahu akbar AND I say "no more American apologies!" We've had enough, Mr. Obama! Meanwhile, Mr. Panetta, our Defense Secretary, calls the deaths of two U.S. military officers killed in Kabul murder. His spokesman says Panetta believes the killings are unacceptable. Wow, what a strong, threatening statement by our Defense Secretary! Yes, Mr. Panetta, they are dead. Accept it! Oh, and guess who has claimed responsibility? You got it . . . The Taliban. So, I guess we, as Americans, must try a little harder to convince ourselves that they are not our enemy. I know I may sound a bit sarcastic and somewhat lighthearted about this, but believe me..... this is VERY SERIOUS! We have a government that seems hell bent on defunding our military and disarming and deceiving the American citizenry about our real threats both abroad and within our borders.
    Another thing our government does well is investigate our military every time something goes awry. This leads me to believe that our politicians think this must resonate well with Americans and our critics everywhere. But for me, it is sickening to always hear politicians, in their first reaction, condemn the men and women who keep us free. Washington needs to remember that it is not them, but our men and women in uniform who take an oath to defend our constitution. Most Americans are tired of you Washington elites acting like you are the all-seeing, all-knowing god! You are not! You were supposed to be a government of the people, for the people, and by the people, but you certainly are not like us, the general population. We the people want YOU out of our way and out of our lives! You are a hindrance to America and to our military. We don't want to win the hearts and minds of jihadists; we want to win the war. In fact, I think it may be time for Americans to begin becoming responsible citizens and launch investigations on the ones in Washington who are always so quick to apologize for us and investigate those who represent us abroad. These men and women actually put their LIVES on the line. I'd like to see you do the same.
    I double dog dare you to do your own research on people like Obama, Panetta, Valerie Jarrett, David Axlerod, Maxine Waters, Charles Connors, and many others around this administration. Find out who they hung out with, what their parents believed, and who some of their mentors were. You will be shocked if you simply dig a little past the surface and understand the backgrounds of those who surround this president and have access to him. They do not share OUR values. They do not want the same America my son grew up in.
    Last night I was privileged to hear Trevor Loudon speak in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Loudon is from New Zealand and is author of the book "Barack Obama adn the Enemies Within." If you have opportunity to hear him or buy his book, I strongly recommend you do so. Mr. Loudon spoke of the threat to the U.S. by our longtime enemies: Communism, China, Russia. More frightening to me however was the threat from within that he spoke of. Men and women in high places in our government whose history and background shows them to hold most of the same goals as those countries mentioned above. He explained that if America was weak, the rest of the West could not help her or themselves. America must be strong to hold despots and tyrants at bay. He said this administration was good at diverting attention while they do something different. I believe this is what Obama is doing with our military. He is "lauding" the Navy SEALs, taking credit for what they do, and claiming he is "the national security president." At the same time he is slashing our military more and more. America is in danger of quickly becoming a nation that cannot protect its interests or help our allies. I have to believe this is "the grand plan," as many on the left do not like our status as the world's super power. We need a president who is proud of America; one who wants to restore it rather than transform it. We need a president whose wife is proud of her country and whose father does not despise everything Western civilization stands for. We must return to our founding principles, not rewrite history!

Ezekial 33:1-5  1The word of the Lord came to me: 2“Son of man, speak to your countrymen and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, 3and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, 4then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head. 5Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself.

    We have yet another apology by President Obama! This time for burning Qur'ans which were filled with written messages, the contents of which were dangerous to our troops. The Qur'ans should have been burned! I'm sure our government would have no problem burning Bibles if they contained messages of terror. But then again, that's Christianity! Islam seems to be the flavor of the day; the religion that everyone in leadership status in the West loves to apologize or make excuse for. The Obama administration is at the top of this list. Even high-ups in our military do the same. They apologize for America and for our troops, but never call out the real enemy. Shame on you, General Allen. I have no more respect for you as a warrior. You have caved politically. I think the question that should be asked is "how do the terrorists get this much free time alone where they can actually write out war plans anyway?" Everywhere you turn we are bowing down to Islam.... willingly. It is only a matter of time before we are forced to bow down as a nation unless we the citizens take a stand and take it quickly! You'd think the administration could pass this off as workplace violence as they did with the Fort Hood incident and other domestic violence and death caused by Islamic radicals on our soldiers here in the U.S. Oh, but wait! That's them against us . . . not the same. Those Islamic men were disturbed, right? No, they were very sane, devout Muslims dedicated to their religion and the so called "holy book." Wake up America before your children or grandchildren are forced to become Muslims. How about the two Americans killed by Afghan forces because of this Qur'an incident? I'm sure many apologies will be forthcoming from Muslim countries to those families. Up to now there has been no outrage from our president over this. Simply because .... those were American soldiers. We have a president and administration who, it seems, refuse to defend the honor and integrity of our servicemen and women. But on the contrary this same president is very quick to take credit every time SEAL Team VI breathes or blinks their eyes. What a small, sick man he really is. This is not just a "democratic side-of-the-aisle" problem. Most republicans also refuse to acknowledge to the American citizens whom they serve (what a joke that is) the truth of this threat our republic faces. Even President Bush failed to call the battle with this enemy what it truly is. Ask the American government leaders if this is a religious war and I suspect almost all will tell you "no." Do they not really know? Or is it that they don't want us to know? Do they not have enough spine to speak the truth for fear of ridicule? Tell us the truth Washington! Please! Tell us who our enemy really is! We, as American citizens, deserve to know. This war will not be won solely by our warriors abroad as other wars have been. This time I'm afraid it will also have to be fought on our soil. The enemy is already among us! Our government's (past and present) political correctness has allowed the enemy into our camps, within our borders, within our states, counties, cities, and shockingly.... within our government! They have put forth policies which have left the citizens at risk from possibly the most dangerous enemy we have ever faced - at least our most patient and longstanding enemy. Thomas Jefferson fought this same enemy as President. They were then known as The Pirates of the Barbary Coast. Hence, our Marines had the nicknames "Leathernecks," since they were forced to wear special protection around their necks to prevent having their heads cut off by the savage barbarians they fought. They are still the same primitive barbarians today. Yet today, they are far more capable.
    No, President Bush wouldn't call this a religious war, nor will most in governmental leadership. But if you ask the Muslim Jihadist, he will likely tell you the truth since this is his or her only sure way to heaven. His religion tells him it is a duty to kill you or force your submission to his false god, Allah. How much different is his god from our Living God, Yaweh, Who gives each person a choice, and is not willing that ANY should perish? What a Great God we have the privilege to serve.
    Anyway, why does our government continue denying us the truth about this enemy? Our warriors on the ground, in the fight, have no problem acknowledging the truth. Thank God for men and women who have not yet been polluted by political correctness and the lies and propaganda that permeate our elected officials and has begun to seep into some of those in higher military offices. A short time ago, Karen and I were asked to attend a debriefing with other parents and spouses of the warriors who lost their lives on Aug. 6, 2011 when Extortion 17 was shot from the sky. The military explained to us how those we loved lost their lives that night. During the explanation , a father of one of the fallen SEALs asked why a drone wasn't used in a particular situation under discussion. A high ranking Admiral spoke up and answered, "because we must win the hearts and minds of the people."  This, in a meeting full of parents and spouses grieving not over the loss of a warrior, but over the loss of a son or husband. The gravity of that statement did not hit me til quite some time later. I looked up this Admiral on the internet and found him to be quite a great warrior and leader. However, the timing of this statement was terrible. It is not the warrior's duty to win the hearts and minds. The duty of an American warrior is to defend the American Constitution and our country's liberty. It is the heart of the American warrior to defend, and if necessary, give his or her life for freedom of those they love. I believe there should be no quarter given for this Islamic Jihadist enemy. Our warriors are not diplomats or politicians, nor should they be! We have more than enough of them to go around; the people who love to feed us a steady diet of bull dung until the whites of our eyes are brown. Let Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Panettta and others go forth and win the hearts and minds of our enemy. Ezekial 33:1-5 speaks about the watchman and his or her responsibilities. We have elected watchmen in Washington and in our individual states. Watchmen, it is YOUR responsibility to sound the true warning. If you do not, the people's blood is on your heads. If you do, and we do not head your warning, you are relieved of your responsibility and the blood is on our own heads. Just give us the facts we need about this enemy! Again, I say..... "no quarter for radical Islam!" They must be shown the black flag!

In recent speeches to Muslims, Ahmad-Hossein Sharifi, deputy chairman and research director at the Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute, discussed the dangers presented by the West to Iran’s Shiite society. He said that the West had decided to undermine this society by disseminating its corrupt, immoral, and anti-Islam culture, and
that it was targeting Iran in particular— because Shiite Iran, unlike the Sunni Wahhabi Saudi Arabia, was the center of the pure Islam. Yet despite the West’s efforts, Sharifi added, Islam was spreading rapidly in the West, and the U.S. and Europe would become Islamic countries within a few decades. In November 2011, Sharifi stated that the Islamic way of life and Islam itself were spreading in the West: “In contrast to what people think, Islam is spreading in the world. For example, between 2000 and 2010, one thousand mosques were built in France, and 60 churches were turned into mosques or shut down. One out of every two babies born in the Netherlands is raised in a Muslim family, and therefore it can be expected that by 2025 all the Dutch will be Muslims. At the beginning of the [1979] Islamic Revolution in Iran, the Muslim population in the U.S. was 300,000 to 400,000—but in light of the growth of
the Muslim population in that country, this number today has reached nine million.” In October 2011, he explained, “The Islamic societies [that will develop in the West] might not be ideal as far as we are concerned, but in general an Islamic spirituality will prevail in them, and they will gradually march towards the ideal spirituality.” He added that Western society was very fearful of this Islamic trend, and was therefore fighting “the pure Islam whose center is Iran.” He added, “Sowing doubt is one of the important elements that the [West, led by the U.S.] uses in hope of harming the Shiite school of thought. “Everyone acknowledges that the Islamic spirituality, and particularly Shiism, is spreading rapidly in the world—to the point where Islam has become an unrivalled religion in the world. If the Islamic trend continues at the present pace, the U.S. is predicted to become an Islamic country by 2070… by 2045  Germany will be completely Islamic; the Netherlands … by 2025, and by 2050 more than 70% of the French will be Muslims.” The infighting between the various factions of Islam does not bode well for those within each sect. Whichever prevails, eventually some form of sharia (Islamic law) and oppression will increasingly impact the world.

    As believers we truly serve a great God! And that's the understatement of the century. Our God is simply beyond what I can fathom in my finite mind. When you read in the scriptures how He is described by some of the ancients, it is magnificent!  I won't attempt to surpass their descriptions of Him but I WILL repeat some of the things He has said about us: He knew us before we were formed in the womb, He knows our going outs and coming ins, and He has numbered our days as well as the hairs on our heads! Bless His Name! He said, "Let us make man in our image." Oh, how He must love us. If we could only comprehend what that means. If you believe scripture, and I do, He has also said the following: He is not willing that any should perish, He removes our sin as far as the east is from the west and remembers it no more, and He loved us before we knew Him. We all know what John 3:16 says. In the book of Revelation Jesus states, "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone would open, I will come in." It's unbelievable that the Almighty does not force Himself into our life!
    Over the past six months I have become more and more thankful that He is The Living God who sees the Alpha and the Omega. I am so thankful He is not shocked by what happens. He is totally in control and He cares for us. As believers, we must truly pity the man who has nowhere to turn for comfort in the dark days of his life. I am living proof that there can be peace in the midst of our storms. There is hope mingled with life's greatest pain.... even when the pain won't go away.
    On August 6, 2011 when Karen learned Aaron was gone, she immediately began to cry from a pain that devestated her entire being. Strangely though, at the same time she began to speak out loud, not by plan since she had certainly never planned for this, but because it had been planted deep in her heart and soul by The Living God, "We do not grieve as those who have no hope." In the midst of the most tragic event in her life, the excruciating physical pain manifested itself in verbal, physical expression for all to see. It came out in a natural way. But simultaneously, an eternal hope manifested itself in a supernatural way. A hope that had been planted in her being many years ago by Christ. It had been nurtured and grown by Him through her walk and continuing trust in Him over the years. It was there for such a time as this. A time neither of us ever dreamed we would face when we brought our baby boy home for the first time over 30 years ago. But thank God, our loving, heavenly Father was not taken by surprise. He saw Aaron's first breath and knew his last. What a great God! By the way, Karen doesn't know what I am writing, but I'm sure she'll agree. When I started this morning, I had no idea I would end up here. I have become so much more thankful my God sees beginnings and endings but only allows me to see what I need to see. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I want to know more. But I have come to understand that He knows, far better than I, how much information I really need. OK, now that I've said that..... wouldn't it be great if I could only "live it" daily. This morning I seem to be more scatter-brained than usual and for that I apologize.
    Aaron lived on this earth for 30 years, 1 month, 5 days, and some odd hours. Only God knows exactly. I'll always remember when and how he lived his life, but much clearer in my mind is the day he went to be with the Lord. That day is etched into my core. I guess that's our nature. The Lord knew we could relate to the stories of "the lost coin," "the lost sheep," and "the lost son." I, myself, have come to understand more who our great God is through this great loss. He holds ALL in His mighty hands; life, breath, death, peace, and yes, comfort. In loss it is so easy to focus on ourselves. I certainly hope I can move from that. There are so many others whose losses are much greater. I think of Aaron's family; Kimberly, Reagan & Chamberlyn. In recent days Karen and I have met families who have lost two sons. Karen, just last week, embraced a 13 year old little girl who was eye-witness to the slaying of 5 family members. I'm certain that some who will read this have also experienced great loss. I am learning more each day that if I can focus on the One who brings comfort in the midst of loss, I  will live much better.
    On the morning of August 6, 2011 I woke in Burlington, Washington. I prayed for my family before getting out of bed. I named them by name and after doing so, added again "especially for Aaron in what he does today." I didn't know he had already gone home. A short time later, as I was driving, I heard a news report about a chopper crash in Afghanistan which had killed Americans. I prayed again for Aaron; a very short prayer, but of course, you know..... he had already gone home. At 4:45am EST Karen awoke, sat straight up in bed, grasped the Navy SEAL bracelet on her wrist (the one she faithfully wore through each of Aaron's deployments) and felt and extreme need to to pray for Aaron. Of course.... he was already gone. You might think our prayers that morning were in vain, but I don't think so. What I would declare to you is that our Father had answered our prayers before they had been spoken. God had taken Aaron to heaven. As his father, I had prayed for his eternal home to be in heaven many, many times. Karen and I had always prayed that our children would be believers, love the Lord, and have a home in heaven. We still pray that for our grandchildren today. If I don't watch out, I will begin to focus on my loss again and not my son's gain. If you believe in scripture, and I do, we can rest assured in these facts: "There is rejoicing in heaven over one sinner coming to the Lord," "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints," and "All things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." Praise be to the Lord that He knows all things and I do not. When I stop and think, I realize how much better off I am that God does not show me all my mind wants to know. For in the case of Aaron, my son, I fear that in the beginning had He shown me the ending, I could never have fully enjoyed the gift I celebrated for 30 years. What a blessing to have a God who knows all and sees all. It is because of Him that in the midst of pain or peace we are able to proclaim what a mighty God we have the privilege to serve. Blessed be the Name of the Lord!
    I will surely confess to you that while I do not have it all figured out (there are times when the pain is strong and the loss comes in like a flood) I am able to declare boldly that God is in control and comfort can be found in the midst of the pain.
